On The Rise
| October 15th, 2009 | Category: In The Press, Interviews |Twenty-eight percent (28%) of voters now say they’d consider Daggett as their first or second choice.
When voters are asked their initial choice, 38% name Christie, 38% Corzine, and 16% prefer Daggett. But it is unclear as to whether Daggett’s name was mentioned in the polling question along with Christie and Corzine.
It is clear that when Daggett polled at 17% on questions regarding trust and the ability to bring down taxes, his name was not mentioned with the other two. ” Which gubernatorial candidate do you trust more on taxes….Chris Christie or Jon Corzine?” Voters volunteered Daggett’s name as their choice over Corzine and Christie, the only two choices offered in the question.
